I am realizing what a horrible blogger I am. I apologize for anyone that has wanted more updates on our life and I have failed to give them to you. The past few months have seemed to fly by and it is amazing that we are already at week 27! Here is a recap of what the last few months have brought and the changes we have seen in this little baby.
During our 20 week appointment, Nate and I stood in amazement at all the details we could already see of this little baby. They checked all of the major organs and body parts to make sure everything was growing and functioning properly. We could even count the tiny little finger and toe bones. I thought we would have to wait until he got here to count all ten, but we were able to do it already...isn't that amazing? We were also informed that we have a very healthy little baby BOY! We actually found out his gender much earlier than normal.. At our 16 week appointment we went into the Ultra Sound room so that they could make sure the separation was not still a problem. It was there that the doctor just blurted out, "oh look, it's a boy!" It's a good thing that we didn't mind finding out beforehand because she didn't give us much choice. Since it was so early we were told that they could not give us the official answer until the 20 week mark. Needless to say, we are thrilled to welcome a son into our family.
