Surprise....we're pregnant!

     Our latest news is that a couple of months ago we found out that we are pregnant with our first baby!  We could not be more excited to welcome this blessing into our lives.  It almost didn't seem real until we went to the doctor and saw the ultra sound screen for the first time.  At 8 weeks, this little life looked like nothing more than a tiny little "bean"...but we could see the flutter and hear the rhythmic waves of a tiny little heartbeat.  What an amazing sight and sound!

     We recently got the opportunity to see another ultrasound at 11 weeks.  This time it looked much more like a little baby. " Bean's" arms and legs were waving wildly around.  Nate said it looked like he/she was doing the backstroke!  We even got to witness a complete flip!  I can't believe that all of that movement is going on inside of me and I can't feel a thing!

     The first three months seemed to have gone by so fast and so slow all at the same time.  I am finally starting to feel better....at least not as desperate for food every 2 hours.  Even though I have felt sick for the majority of the last few months, we are so excited that we have a healthy little baby!
